My name is Stephen Van Vreede, and NoddlePlace.com is a division of my parent company called No Stone Unturned. You can check out my website at http://www.nostoneunturnedllc.com. I have been in the career consulting business since 2002 with 8 years of corporate hiring experience prior to that.
The short story is that I have a B.S. degree in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Marketing from Villanova University. I am a certified professional resume writer (CPRW) and a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARW/CC). I am also an Academy Certified Resume Writer (ACRW), a credential earned through the Resume Writing Academy and its founders Wendy Enelow and Louise Kursmark.
As I mentioned, I paid my dues in the corporate world eventually running a large-scale call center for a major truck rental company, and I have spent the past 7 years with No Stone Unturned, assisting job seekers in achieving their goals through resume writing and career/job search coaching.
I started NoddlePlace.com because after working with about 600 job seekers each year, I have become more and more convinced that most of them do not properly prepare for a job search and rely way too much on online job posting sites to tell them what to do. Thus, they waste a lot of time, money, and energy. So I wanted to introduce a site that would give it to them straight.
Also, after having moderated face-to-face group job hunting sessions, I realized that this same effective concept could work over the Internet. There is certainly something powerful that happens when people put their "noddles" together. So why not bring that energy into the job search realm?
