Do I have to divulge my name and contact info?
We do ask for your name and e-mail address upon registration (no mailing addresses or phone numbers); however, no other users on the site will have access to anything more than your username, which is something you choose. NoddlePlace.com has its own messaging system, so other users will not see your e-mail address. Therefore, whatever personal information you choose to divulge to other noddlers, is totally up to you.
Will NoddlePlace.com sell or disclose my information to spammers?
Absolutely not! We do not even tell members of our career pro network your name unless you give us your written permission to do so. We will give you leads and potential contact names, but it is up to you to contact them. The only thing we will do is send you periodic e-mail updates, and our internal messaging system will notify you by e-mail of messages waiting for you.
I'm already on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Why do I need to sign up for yet another site?
We at NoddlePlace.com certainly recommend that job seekers take advantage of social networking tools like LinkedIn and Facebook. And we recognize that a lot of options are out there vying for a job seeker's time. Our intention here is to provide a place that is totally devoted to job seekers, specifically job seekers joining forces and working together to help one another out in the job search process.
These other sites have great resources, but they can be difficult and time-consuming to navigate your way around. We offer lots of resources and make recommendations to help you use these sites more effectively while allowing you to network here as well.
Is everything really on the site free?
Everything but some of our items on our Products page is completely free (although we do actually have a free eGuide there as well!). Sometimes during the course of our interaction with a noddler, we will recommend products or services (some of ours or some of other resources we trust) that may have some cost associated with them. If that occurs, we will let you know upfront what those costs are.
Do I need to have a resume to upload?
No. We have a profile for each user to fill out upon registration, which can be updated at any time. If during the course of networking with other noddlers on the site you decide to send someone your resume, that is up to you. Of course, if you sign up for our free resume assessment, then you will need to have one to send to us! 
Do I have to be actively looking for a job to participate?
No. Anyone who is interested in networking and in assisting others while they are actively looking is welcome to join us. In fact, building a strong network and maintaining that even when you are satisfied in a position is a great idea.
